Internally Threaded
This piece of jewelery has an internally threaded locking feature, meaning the top has a 'pin'/screw with threads on the outside, while the rod that the top fits is hollow like a tube with threads on the inside. The "stick" at the top is thus screwed into the rod. This system is very gentle on the tissue because the threading itself, which can be a bit sharp, is never in contact with the skin. Please note that tops of this type only fit together with poles with the same type of locking function and vice versa!
